An Online Archimedes Optimization Algorithm Identifier-Controlled Adaptive Modified Virtual Inertia Control for Microgrids

Single widespread employment of renewable energy sources (RESs) contributes to the shortage in inertia microgrid (MG). After this, frequency stability may regress as a result power imbalance or minor load fluctuations. This paper proposes an explicit adaptive modified virtual control (VIC) based on online Archimedes optimization algorithm (AOA) identifier for MG containing thermal, wind, and solar photovoltaic plants. The Rung Kutta approach is used construct proposed identifier, which acts model MG. AOA predicts coefficients input output mimic deviation online. estimates damping VIC system with storage device coefficients. compared conventional fixed parameters optimal using offline under mutation loads, weather-dependent input, MATLAB/Simulink software. Furthermore, evaluated fuzzy logic control, adjusts only inertial gain simulation results demonstrate capabilities improve enhance low-inertia islanded MGs RESs.
